GENERAL ELECTRIC INNOVATION CENTRE

When GE built its state-of-the-art Innovation Centre in Toronto, the company asked FDM Designs to provide the best interior for facilitating large numbers of visiting experts. Scientists, politicians and energy analysts come from all over the world to visit the GE Innovation Centre looking for ways to improve their energy infrastructures. The facility includes a technical training centre, research and testing station, as well as distance learning options. FDM Designs provided detailed blueprints for traffic flow in the 200,000 sq ft centre, plus an ergonomics plan for the offices, and a complete furnishings package. The result was a clean, modern and efficient space that telegraphs to visitors the GE brand of innovation and integrity.
